Clean up
And what agreement does a temple
of God have with idols? For you are the
temple of the living God, as
God has said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My
people." Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the
Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing.
And I will receive you and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons
and daughters, says the Lord
Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6: 16 - 18
It’s clean up time.
Why does God
feel so far away? Why do we pray and receive no answers? Why are our offerings
and sacrifices unaccepted? We have labored and watched our harvest go to
someone else. Does God even know? Does he still see? Yes he knows and yes he
sees all. His hands are not too short that he can’t save us neither is his ears
deaf that he can’t hear us, but our sins and our unrighteousness have separated
us from God.
Even my little kids know that after their playtime and after they
have turned the house upside down, they have to clean up and put everything back
in order. We have worked in unrighteousness for far too long and it has
hampered the blessings of God in our lives and our nation.
As we start off a
new week, God demands that we clean up our acts and return to him in
righteousness. He demands that his children standout as lights in this present
darkness. God desires to be a father to us and lavish his enduring love on us.
It’s time to clean up our acts and return home to the Father.
This week, stand
out from the crowd and be separated unto God in righteousness.
Thanks so much ma for bringing to our remembrance those things expected of us by God to able to be a partaker of His goodness. I pray the grace to walk closely with Him and clean up at all time, He will grant unto us in Jesus name!
