God's Proven Expert Outlook On The Economic Challenges

We all realize we can't control what is or will be at some point. We can do our best to influence it. We can work hard to set it up for success, but ultimately, there is an element of the Divine in the outcome of everything.

Recent reports on the world's economy have brought much anxiety to organizations and individuals, leaving us with more questions than answers. Will the inflation rate make me sell my home? Will my business survive the economic strain? Will my job get cut in the next rounds of layoffs? Questions and questions assail our minds every free second of the day.

 Daniel 4:17 tells us that God rules the affairs of men and gives them to whoever he wants. So while we may try to resolve some of these questions or anticipate and plan for some, the truth remains that the outcomes remain in God's hands.

If we know and believe this, what should our stance be in a crunch?

I came across Isaiah 37: 30  and decided it would be the Outlook I'd take on my economy for the next three years.  

 "This will be the sign for you, Hezekiah: "This year you will eat what grows by itself, and the second year what springs from that. But in the third year, sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit. Isaiah 37:30 (NIV)

What a promise!

A fantastic projection, a divine Outlook for a faith-based economy – and to which I say, Amen!

Notwithstanding the news, this is God's economic Outlook for me and you, too, if you'd believe:

• Year One, starting this moment, if you'd believe it, God will divinely provide and meet your needs in these challenging times and in ways you may not have a hand in making it happen.

• In year Two, he will multiply the provisions of the previous year; it's self-sustaining, and your sustenance continues without a hitch.

• In Year Three, he will bring you into a season of stability where you can plant by yourself and enjoy the harvest.

What a blessing!

So which report will you hold on to? The ones that say it will be a tough time and weakens your faith? Or the one from God that says the next three years are covered, and you'd have what you need.

I chose the latter – aligning with God's economic Outlook. This year he will provide; next year, he will multiply his provision, and in the third year, you'd sow and reap.

So take a load off, drop the stressing, strengthen your faith in God's word and rest in his promise – he's always providing for his own. Trust him.
